Bristle nose pleco question

So I fed my albino BN for the first time yesterday. It is still very small and I put a whole tab of food in. Should I break up the tablets since the BN is still so small. Plus how long should I leave the food sittin at the bottom for?

I have the same kind of food. They will break little pieces off and it will eventually break up into smaller pieces.

Do you have any other bottom feeders? If you do I wouldn't break it.

Nope all I have in the 29 gallon is the BN and 8 neon tetra. For now.
