Brown Algae

I have recently accumulated brown algae in my tank.

Any suggestions on getting rid of it?

It is probably diatom algae and is quite normal. If this is a new tank, give it a little time, it usually crashes on it's own after using up all the silicates in the system. Once this happens you can employ herbivorous snails to much most of the rest away.
