Brown/redish stuff on live sand

I have these brow/red spots on my live sand. It clings together and it is spreading like crazy. Nothing on my rocks but all on the sand. Its like patches of algae. Can someone help me? Thx

Its cyano. Too much nutrients in the water

i had this. mine was in bigger patches though

i did a 20% PCW and vacuumed it out. i have a canister filter so i also cleaned that. worked for me

Yeah looks like Cyano:
