buddys nitrate problem

So my buddy called me and tells me he has a problem with his nitrate and ask me to come over and help. So i did, can you guys tell me whats wrong(cough cough)

i lost count after 125 MTS and there was alot more i did not count, 1 common pleco 20 guppys and 1 neon tetra, 20 Japanese shrimp.

Haha I try... I can't get over that!! Does he plan on doing anything about it?

i left him with the guppys and shrimp, told him to remove all those snails. i took the pleco and tetra and put them in my 90 gal. will re home the pleco. my 90 gal only 50% stocked so it will be all right until my other fish gets out of qt. by then i should have a new home for him. i did a Aqadvisor on his tank this is what it came out too.

Wow!! That's crazy!! I counted like 7 in my tank and took 4 out.
