Butterfly plec chasing Ruby barbs

I have a arched rock in the middle where the plec usually hangs out, lately the male Ruby barb has been getting more red and chasing the female about and the plec keeps chasing the male barb, I'm not sure if the plec could hurt him or anything, and I'm not sure if I should move his rock to a corner to try keeping him out the way? Is this territorial or is it because the barb is trying to mate? Any help is appreciated!

I have 5 black widow tetra, 6 Ruby barbs, 12 neon tetra, 6 scissor and a butterfly plec in a 90 uk litre tank, not sure about American measures.

I find the catfish will get grumpy at feeding or just in general if fish get too close but no harm done. The young yoyo loach gets squashed by the catfish at feeding time but still persists.
