Buymblebee Cichlids

Hi guys i have a bumblebee only tank and i aint got too much experiance in keeping african cichlids but i thought i would have a go as i have a tropical community tank at the moment so i got this one aswell.

my dominant male has been chasing off all the other fish in the tank that wanders too close to the corner of the tank he has taken up camp except for one of the females . when he has her there he shimmys for a second then they kind of spin round and carry on doing the same, is that because they are gettng ready to spawn ??

if they are how long before she starts to lay her eggs ? i only noticed him doing it last night and again today.

any help would be great

ok guys nevermind lol . i was watching the tank 10 minutes ago and she started laying the eggs but kept getting interupted by the other fish so the male kept chasing them off .. now she is in the corner by the filter just staying there is that normal after laying eggs ?
