I'm getting ready to add the fish either this or next week. I'm set on a C.Moorii colony, but i would like to know if 6 would be fine a 90 gallon? I heard that they will be, and also heard that they will be fine at first, but eventually outgrow my tank, after many years though. Just need justification :)

You're referring to the Malawi Blue Dolphin (Cyrtocara moorii)?

They are midly aggressive but they are territorial and will get to about 9 inches. I would think that one male with three to four females should be fine in a 90 gallon without having to worry about them outgrowing the tank. Any more than that and a larger tank would probably be in order. I've seen them listed anywhere between 8-10" in size.

Bryan
