Can a Sunset Platy breed with a Red Wag?

I have 2 Blue Platys, 2 Red Wag Platys and 2 Sunset Platys. When I got them I didn't think about males or females (first fish) but I was reading about how to tell the difference (males have a more tubular anal fin, females have a more fan shaped).

Is this correct?

If so, both Blues are female, both Sunsets are male and the Red Wags are one of each.

Can they interbreed?

They seem to stick with their own color.....

Certainly they can and will...they are simply different colours of the same species.

Is it normal for them to stick with their own color as far as swimming around goes?
