It's translucent an apart from opening an closing it doesn't move.
It's been there for near a year an has grown a little.
 
I'm curious as well.. There's one in the tank where I work, none of us have figured it out. Its been there for 10 years closes when touched.
 
It's a type of bivalve. Probably a clam or mussel. It's not a barnacle though.
 
I really don't think it's a clam or mussel it's some kind of valve it's clear tho this one has gunk on it I have more but can't pic there behind anemones

Yes, a bivalve. So either a clam or mussel. I have one that looks similar in my tank
 
I agree clam or mussle. A barnacle looks totally different and has feeder arms that come out. I have a couple random clams/mussles in my tank and they are pretty cool.
