can i keep a male betta with gourami's and rams?

no you can't, gouramis are like the bettas worst enemy. You can't put any fish with a labrynth lung with another fish that has the labrynth lung or bright colours. As for the rams, ditto for them too. They're cichlids and they don't get along with bettas. I had a blue ram in with a 4 yr old fem. betta and the ram wound up jumping out from harassment.

ok what about the rams and some clown loach?

really would like another betta but i may have to rethink this
