They're very soft and almost have a "fluffy fuzzy" appearance! I for the life of me can't remember what the heck I bought SIGH. If it is ludwigia do you have any pointers on proper care? I do remember that my LFS said it was a very easy to care for plant if that clues anyone in.

Yea it's either ludwigia white or ludwigia walichi. Fairly simple to care for, requires medium lighting. It's a fairly fast grower in the right conditions.
The seachem ferts your using should be fine for it and also some root tabs help. Best to have nutrients both at the roots and in the water column. If the plant seems to die out then your main issue would be light strength [emoji106]
