My 75g setup I picked up today came with a CPR continuous overflow that is cemented to pvc pipe to run it down to the sump area. I would like to sell the overflow but cant figure out how to get the pvc off the bulkhead. lol

can it be done in any way or am I stuck with it attached?

Thanks to anyone who can answer. :)

If I'm not mistaken, acetone will melt the glue. But... if there's glue on the inside, not sure how you could get it out. Easiest thing to do would be to cut the pvc off long enough that you can add a coupler to it, then sell it as is.

Hmm doesn't sound too promising. lol here are pictures of what I'm dealing with

I wasn't sure what I should do to be honest. I wasn't anticipating it being stuck on. lol I have the same cpr overflow and mine wasnt cemented so I just figured it would have been the same. Much better selling point if it looks just like it would new. :)

PVC glue actually welds the two pieces of pipe together if it's done correctly. You'll have to cut it.
