Do you all run carbon in your filters 24/7 ? What kind of filter media do you all use?

we use a penguin filter HOB on our 7 gmb 24/7 , the media I use is a filter pad with carbon rinsed weekly and changed monthly . We also use purigen and phosban in ours to help wih the algea that we had. I feel that running carbon 24/7 works if you have corals to remove any chemicals that the corals may put out . I also use the same combo on the 2.5 tank and there is nothing that I use for the pico just live rock on that as there is not a small enough filter for that HTH

I run carbon one week a month, right after the water change.

I run Chemi-pure 24/7. Change it once a month.
