Yesterday I got what seems to be a carnation coral. I know a little but about them based off of liveaquaria's description, but is there any tips or experiences people have to make them thrive? Only half of the polyps are open. I have marine snow, live brine shrimp, and I need to get phytoplankton. Do I directly feed the phytoplankton or let it circulate throughout the tank? Thanks any help would be much appreciated.

They are very hard to keep alive. It's hard to keep enough food in the water column and not spoil the tank water in a closed system.
