Catfish fighting

Hi my 2 catfish have been fighting now one has a big white patch on the top of it could this get infected what should I do

I would separate them as quick as you can- if you have to- put the healthy one in a bucket, leave the injured one in the tank, keep your water clean and monitor the injury. If it doesn't get worse don't try to treat it with any quick cure products or slime coat enhancers as these can make things worse.
