chaeto in dt

So i am seting up a refugium. I pick up some chaeto to put in to it but i had to make a couple of structural changes to the refugium tank will the chaeto be fine in the dt or should i just leave it in the bag?

Better in the DT than the bag.

chaeto grows pretty fast so don't keep it in there to long or it might take over

yea that's what tough. its only going to be a couple days till the silicone drys.

chaeto has no anchoring "roots" or appendages to latch on to anything. it basically floats around. it will be fine in the DT until you get sorted out.
