changing to sand

I'm gonna change to sand today. What should I do to rinse it so its not all dusty when I put it in?

Dump sand in a bucket(clean of course and leave room at top). Fill with water. Swish around sand and then keep adding water so cloudy water overflows. Sticking hose at bottom helps. Repeat several times until water gets clear.

Cut two slits in the top corners of the bag, and start pumping water in through one. The smaller particles will flow out the other corner.

Then you could empty some in a bucket, and mix it and change the water as more sand starts to cloud the water.
