Hey all, been a little less than a year I think since I joined the site, I started the hobby about a year and a half ago. I'm posting my progress thanks to the research I have done on this site. One 75 gallon with: 1 African leaf fish, 1 pleco, 1 albino brislenose pleco, 2 kribensis (m/f), 2 gourami (m/f), 8 cory cats both peppered and some other kind I don't remember (photo in post if you can identify the big mama), 5 danio (3 leopard, 2 zebra). 1 mystery snail. I think that’s it lol. 10 gallon: 2 furcata rainbows, 5 celestial danios, 5 neon tetras.

I’m looking for advice, I am thinking of getting 3 more furcata rainbows for the 10 gallon. With the plants and regular water changes is this too heavy a bio load? I’m running a top fin 30 and a top fin 10 filters. Any recommendations to help my plants (t8 lights and no co2) would be much appreciated. I would like to see my plants flourish more.

Also, I am aware that the pleco and leaf fish will have to be rehomes in a year or so, they already have that lined up.

Your other Cory species is the Panda Cory.

IMO your 10 gallon is already overstocked. I wouldn't add anything else.

The blended substrate looks a lot better than i would imagine if someone tried explaining it. Very great idea, what is each?

Thanks. Its just pool filter sand on the white side to save $$ qnd the black sand was from the lfs. It looks wayyyy better after a year of slow blending as opposed to a stark contrast and sa strait line in the middle. Kind of yin and yang.

Very neat idea, and even better that u let it blend naturally over time. I must say it is unique, show it off.
