Cherry shrimp death

I have a 22l aquarium, heavily planted. Nitrite 0, ammonia 0 and ph 7. Temperature 25.c. There is around 20 shrimp in the tank. Yesterday a female molted, the males went mad and this morning she was berried but swimming around like she was drunk. I checked the tank later to find her dead but all the other shrimp seem fine including the other berried female. Does anyone know what might cause this?

How long have you had the shrimp for?
Have you added anything new to the tank?
What are you nitrate level? Sorry if I've missed this.

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
16 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.
