christmas tree coral closed

I just got a christmas tree coral that I ordered online and am not sure what side is up.. Its closed up right now so I'm not sure what side to put in the sand , Can anyone help? heres a picture of it

The larger section should be your base so from that picture I would assume the left side is the top of it and the right side is the bottom
