Cleaning Between Rocks/Decorations

How do you guys clean in between your rocks? Unless your tank is a huge whirlpool, I would imagine you get junk that builds up in between rocks just like me. The gravel vac tube isn't small enough to reach in between everything. I can take a bucket of water off the top and pour it back up, kicking up stuff before syphoning water out, but I'm not sure how the fish like this and it kicks my sand around, which I don't like. What do you guys do?

I remove the rocks about once a month and clean under them. In our 150 we just have the water flow push everything out from under the rocks. It's positioned to deposit all fish waste into one area. Works great. All we have to do is syphon out of that one spot.
