How can you sterilize things that your fish will come into contact with such as a siphon, little buckets in a way that will not harm your fish

You can use a bleach solution as long as you make sure to rinse really really well and soak in dechlor water if its small enough. Depending on the item you could plunge it in boiling water, throw it in the dishwasher with no detergent, etc. Someone else may have better methods.
