Hey. I have a 20g planted aquarium. For my carpet I have Dwarf Baby Tears and I don't know how to clean it. Would it be safe just to siphon or should I get some bottom feeders? :thanks:

What I would do is place the siphon on the top of the baby tears, what i do is by creating some turbulence with the siphon this releases all the crap that's in the baby tears. The. Simply suck up everything that comes out

Thanks for the advice. "Could I use fish with an addition to keeping my Baby Tears clean?

Yes, I would recommend some shrimps like ghost shrimp or cherry shrimp, they will craw around underneath the baby tears cleaning them

I would go with cherry shrimp as I have them in my fluval edge&they're great..&will reproduce but not like an infestation like nuisance snails can..
