Okay, so basically at first I was going to do the fishless cycle with fish food so I sprinkled food for the first 2 days. Then I had the opportunity to actually get pure ammonia so I did that for a month now and everything was fine at 0 within 24 hrs yesteday. I did the large water change, after siphoning to get those bits out from a month ago. The problem is that the water is partially cloudy now- pretty clear in the bottom and sides, mostly in the top middle. Any thoughts?:(

It may be a bacterial bloom. Sometimes these happen an can be beneficial. It will probably go away with a few water changes. A month to complete the cycle is very fast. Were your nitrates 0 also? You may want to dose ammonia a few more times just to be extra sure. Good luck!
