clown fish & naso tang

I have a 75g, that I am now ready to add some fish too. I was wanting to add a naso tang and 2 maroon clown fish. Will this be ok for my tank?

Hi. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but a tang is way way too big and active to go into a 75g. Most require at least a 6 foot tank. The naso is actually too big for my 125g tank! LOL

You have alot of options for fish, just not tangs unfortunately. :-(

Are you going to do a reef tank or fish only? That will also dictate what you can keep.

The clowns will be fine. Below is a link giving some idea about guidelines for Naso tangs. Keep in mind that the tank size requirements have nothing to do with bio-load or the "gallons per inch rule". It is based on the activity of that particular fish and the area they need to have available for swim movement.

Look at the kole tangs for an option to the naso.

Maybe look at a lemonpeel? They are good.

I love the look of lemonpeels, soo much like a yellow tang. At least to me.
