Clown loaches and new bubble bar.Interesting.

I added 2 18" bubble bars to my 55 gallon and my 4 clown loaches (2.5" or so) have been swimming in vertical circles in the bubbles.

I guess my question is are they freaking out,or just thoroughly enjoying the new tank addition?

I would say they are diggin' the bubbles. If they were freaked out, I think they would be hiding somewhere.

I just added another Fluval 406 to the 220g today and my yo-yo loaches have been having a ball swimming circles, riding the current, and doing every crazy thing they can think of. Yours are having fun too!

Awesome,they are about to have some more fun too,going to pick up a better pump this evening since my little whisper can only power about half the bubble bars.

I've had them and many other fish just love riding the bubbles. I'd says they are happy.

I've had clowns for some time and they just love to check out anything new and I'd definitely say they were enjoying themselves.

I'll second that for sure. I have six clowns ranging between 3 and 4 inches. They are definitely the most entertaining and interesting fish in my tank.
