Columbian Tetras

Has anyone had any expirence with Columbian Tetras...I just got a small school of five for my tank and they are dying off one by one..so far two are down and and a third look rough..probably will not make it...as they get sick they get dark around thier face and head and they find a very secluded spot and just hang there...a day or two later they are floating...any ideas

I had 2, now have one. I believed my frist to die due to unhealthy conditions at the pet store. However, I have found the one that lived to be very easy to keep, and a great fish!!! It looks so cool!!! I just love him, and plan to get a few more columbians!!! Sorry I can't help you with your problem, but mine seemed to live, and became very strong. which made me think they weren't a tempermental fish
