Common Pleco

My common Pleco is always on back. But his mouth is still moving. He came from a 150 Gallon community tank and now in a quarantine tank. Is he dying do you think?

He is eating Algae off the glass or plants and wood or i feed him algae Wafers

You say that's a qt tank..... was it disease free when he went in there? How were the conditions in the old tank? Was it well maintained?

Other tank if very well maintained. Tested regularly with no issues. The QT tank was free from disease just this sickly looking pleco. The water in the QT tank seems to get very cloudy with him in there. When i took him from the 150gallan the water in there was cloudy but has no cleared up since he has left. I think he is creating the cloudiness.

Maybe right. I know when common plecos get large they are poo machines. The lfs' sell them as clean up crew, but when they get bigger, they produce much more waste than they consume. Sorry, my theories on why he's inverted are out the window. I'm not much help
