Community fish tank

20 gallon long. 7 dwarf rainbow fish in there already. I want to add shrimp and more community fish. I have double filtration in the form of under gravel power head an an over the top aquaeon quiet flow thus there is a lot of water flow. I will be adding plants. Just want to know what fish i can add and how many i can add. I want this to be a colorful and full tank with as many fish as is safe

AqAdvisor website is a good resource to decide on how many fish for your tank. You would have to plug in some info about your tank including current residents. It will tell you an approximate % of how full your tank is. You could then plug in other fish that you might be interested in. For color in our tank, I love our sunset platys(candy corn variety) and our green lantern platys(they are actually blue). We have all males because I am not interested in raising babies!
