Are these fish be all good to go in a 40 gallon tank?
Three spot Gourami-1
Red tailed Shark-1
Zebra Danio-6-8
Cory Cats-6-8

I tried to pick all hardy fish since i am newer to fish keeping but i have no idea if these fish can co-exist. Please help

I almost always recommend groups of fish, never an individual. Lone fish don't do nearly as well as those with tankmates of the same species. Either skip the gourami or get several of them. Or several tetras or other danios.

Gouramis, partiularly blue, opaline, or gold, tend to be aggressive toward their own species. If you are going to keep more than one, it should be a male and a female with plenty of hiding places. Otherwise, being anabantoids, they are fine as a solitary fish, similar to bettas.
