Here's a strange thing that happened to my anemone.

It's been really healthy for a long time, but I had noticed that the body, just above the foot where it's attached to the rocks, was twisted. Last night, it began moving along the rocks, but the body stayed twisted. Sometime in the night, the twisted section broke off and is still attached to the rock. The body and tentacles of the anemone are still full of water and looks very healthy, but is on the bottom of the tank.

I'm wondering if this could be how they multiply or if this was an attempt to get rid of the twisted foot.

I cant answer that but be on the look out as an anenomie can really foul up your tank if you leave it in too long.

Here he is this afternoon. He seems fine and he's accepting food. He seems normal.
