wow, that sucks dude. i wish i had some better advice for ya, i've never been in that situation though. your best bet may be to completely start from scratch, bleach everything in a 10:1 solution then soak in water with 5x the dechlor needed for that amount of water. There has to be something in there killing that bacteria

Have you tried draining almost all the water and refilling, bringing the ammonia back up to the right level and keeping an eye on it again?

I did a 75% pwc which dropped the levels. Now my ammonia has been sitting at 1ppm for about 3 days.
