My "no fish in it yet" 75 gallon planted tank has some uninvited guest snails, planaria and copepods. I understand that the snails came on the plants, but did the planaria and copepods as well? There was an almost 2-week delay between the snails popping up and the others.

The copepods are lightning fast and I know the eventual fish will eat them, but what about the planaria?

Thanks!

Its all about what you're after long term in your tank LOL. As far as the planaria and copepods, yes, they most likely came in on your plants.

Well I've paid up to 2.50 per snail for my tanks. Cocepods are free food/ algae eaters. I'd say your set :)
