I think this is a purple encrusting monti. Is that what it is? They didnt know. Already sold 3 frags off of it. Looks like a super awesome coralline algae to me. Doesn't glow.

I have taotronics they were cheaper on amazon

I will have a look, do you have any trouble with them over heating?

Mine have heat sink and dimmers on them. came already put together in a caseing. they were about $180 a fixture. they were buy it now on eBay

I have a xen-lux led fixture.(cheap Chinese light) its a lot like the taotronics. Never had a problem.

It should I have 90 degree optics on mine tho and my tank is about 30 inch deep and I have them dimmed down

here is a comparison pic on my green Monti. no sure what kind it is. seems to be growing fast. this is about 1.5 months. and I recieved it in a very distressed state. so after recuperation time the growth rate seems good.
