Don't remember the name of the bubbly looking corals but was curious if the arms/tentacle things coming off of it were algae or the feeder arms
 
You mean the candycane coral? I would say the arms are from something underneath the heads can you get a pic from the side of the tank where the powerhead is. You might tell better from that angle
 
Yeah that's not from the candy cane coral there is something else growing on it don't know what most likely the algae your asking about
 
looks almost like caupulara a macro algae especially in this pict it grows fast and can smother coral those vines can go everywhere i'd yank it put it in the sump if you have one
