Greetings.

I have 4 corydoras...two have hit it off really well, and are best buds. They feed together, play tag all the time (or at least I was told it was tag and not chasing), and seem awfully chummy.

They have recently decided that the sunken log decoration is their 'territory' and will chase off all other cory cats from it, and the pleco before I got rid of him. They don't seem to mind the tetras and danios swimming over top of it, as long as they aren't in view of the ends.

Any ideas on this? I didn't think corys get territorial?

Thanks!

Weird, to the best of my knowledge corys don't protect their eggs. They just sort of lay them all over and then they're as likely to eat them as anyone else. I've never seen that behavior with any of my corys.

I don't know much about corys, but it sounds like typical behavior for fish about to mate. :D

Um....strike me as a silly newbie...but how do I tell if they are male and female? Also, aren't cory's hard to breed?
