Covering fish tank

Besides tank lids with light, what are some other things I can use to cover a fish tank? I like inexpensive things because I'm not keeping plants in my tank.

Glass, lexan, a board, etc...

I've thought about glass and lexan, but are there any free cutters who will do it for free? Does home depot or lowe's do it for free if I buy their glass?

Yes, in fact I recently had lowes cut a single piece of glass, that I bought there, into two perfectly sized pieces for one of my 75gs. Then I just siliconed on two little henges for handles, worked great.

Thanks thats really great news for me I'm setting up 3-4 more tanks within the next 2 months, so this will save me more money than I expected!
