Cycling without seeding?

I am curious to know how long a fishless cycle took for those who did not seed. I don't mean to sound demanding, but I'd prefer an exact amount of days instead of 3-6 weeks. I know it varies, but just curious on exact amount of days.

You could ask Sparky. I could be wrong, but I don't believe he seeded. In one of either your or my threads he posted a link to his log in a spreadsheet, you could look for that too.

It depends on many different factors. It could take 2 weeks for one person and 4 for another. I did mine in about 3 to 4 weeks.

36 Days. Not as great as 14... but I'll take it! (As opposed to fishy cycling.)

Expect 2-3 weeks. Keep your temps around 80ºF-82ºF to speed the cycle, and make sure there is no lack of material to feed that bacterial growth.
