dark green clumps on my sandbed

So I had my diatom outbreak on my sandbed about a month ago. Soon after it turned from brown to a vary dark green. It is big chunks of what almost look like algae. The problem is my crab keeps getting his feet stuck in it and I have to keep pulling it off of him. I can't get a picture of it saddly but I have no idea what it is or what to do. Testing was all at 0. salinity is at. .26 .27 my tank has been up for almost 3 months now

.027 is a little on the high side. i have never heard of a crab getting stuck in algae. when you touch it, is it slimy, or furry? if it's slimy, it could be cyanobacteria.

My sg is now at about .25 .26 its not really slimy its hard clumps. Like I have to put a decent amount of force on the clumps to break them apart. I wish I could take a picture. It doesn't seem to bee really bothering anyone health wise I just wish I knew what this was

probably turf algae of some sort. don't you have a camera on your phone?
