Dead male swordtails?!

I have a great 10g tank



It has never had any fish die except!....
Male swordtails...
I have had 1female and wanted to breed..
I bought a male 1day later...dead
I tried 2 more times...dead
All other fish are great and VERY healthy but male swordtails die...

Bad stock? Idk lol swordtails are generally pretty hardy little fish so I don't know what to say.....are they being acclimated correctly????

I have also had similar problems. I raised a batch of swordtail fry and they were all doing great, got to be about 8 months old when the males just randomly started to die. My levels are good, steady, nothing's changed. My females, however, continue to live another day. If you find the answer please let me know
