digital thermometer

so i bought this fancy digital thermometer today and im wondering if you have to leave it on...its a silly question but ive never had one before and since they use a battery i was just wondering...the cheap one i had was good actually...they both read the same temp....oh well.... :?

I've had mine on and running continously since April. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get replacement batteries now while you are thinking about it.

I guess it depends if you want to or not.A good thing to keep it on though is that you will have a constant temperature reading(in a book I bought it says to check the temperature every time you pass the tank).A good thing to keep it off is that you won't waste the battery.So either way I guess you would benefit but IMO I say keep it on.

i do check the temp every time i go into the room...ill keep it on...ill see how long the battery lasts and if it doesnt last too long then when its time to replace it ill start turning it off...THANKS A LOT!!!
