Can the water just be hot water from the tap?

It can, but you need to cool it at a certain point. Watch the video that was linked previously. Can the water just be hot water from the tap?
Yeah, it's fine to use tap, because the tap water does not travel into the aquarium.Yeah i saw the vid I was just seeing if I could use tap I just need to buy the bowl diffuser
Can someone post a pic of their DIY co2 system?
Thanks!

I'm guessing I should say something like, "Welcome to the world of DIY". Everyone says it's a pain. I just hope it goes well for me! I hope it will work for you too.yeah i'm gonna use that recipe when i seal up the holes.
everything seems to be failing for me

I always hear of the mixture essentially blowing up, what causes this?
Also, what are some common stores where i can buy the silicone, diffuser, and check valve? I dont want to be running all over town
Gboy66 said:What would the chopstick do for it?
I would recommend the diffuser. Chopsticks work, but paying $5.00 for a nano diffuser isn't gonna make your pocketbook any lighter IMO. On Ebay just type in "co2 diffuser" and pick a good one with a good seller rating. I would suggest getting one that doesn't take 30 days to ship from Taiwan lol. What would the chopstick do for it?
