DIY Glass 24 x 24 tank what thickness of glass to use

I just built a 24 x 24 acrylic tank and it looks very good however it scratches very easy. I want to build a glas tank the same size what thickness of glass should I use.

The depth of the tank is what's critical to determining glass thickness. There are several good calculators online. Unfortunately, we don't have one here, so you'll have to google it.
