I bought three algae eating shrimp (not ghost shrimp) yesterday. I saw one briefly this morning, but never saw it again. Do clown loaches eat such a thing. I forgot to ask before I bought them? It wouldn't be much of a snack for them, but kind of an expensive mistake for me.
Sort of LOL

If they are large Clown's they will eat them. But then again Amano shrimp are really good at hiding in the tank.

Yeah!!! All three shrimps surfaced tonight after a water change. The clown loaches are pretty young and small. The biggest is a little over 2.5 inches long I'm guessing. The clowns don't seem to want to go after a really big snail which doesn't seem to breed, thank goodness re snail offspring.

So they're called Amano shrimp. I'll look that up. Thanks Rex!

One of our amanos died- not sure why or how... we thought maybe it was our clown loaches but I don't think so. The loaches leave the amanos alone in my tank and my loaches aren't tiny.
