Do longfinned danios have "whiskers"?

Hello. I'm just wondering if long-finned blue danios have whikers from their chins. I looked up their profile and it said they have "barbells". What is that? Just curios.

i know that when i had zebra danios they did... but i never saw them until i bred them.... so maybe your danios are breeding... wouldnt that be cool.... but im sure eggs and fry would be eaten

They do have barbels but they are very fine and held close to the body. They are difficult to see on those fast swimming little danios. They look like two fine threads trailing from the corners of the mouth like a moustache.

My zebra danios had barbels too.

Yup my leopard danios have them also.
