Ive seen many people use aquarium bacteria in bottles. If I dont use bacteria in bottles will my aquarium still cycle?

You absolutely do not need bacteria in a bottle to cycle a tank. Biggest thing with a cycle is to bind lethal toxins and let nature take its course.

I did a long thread way back where I tested Bacteria in a Bottle and it never worked and ended up a huge waste of $$$. You can order a "seeded" filter from AnglesPlus.com for little money and they work great to get a natural cycle going. That's what I've ended up doing twice.

It's not at all necessary, but some will speed up your cycle. I used Seachem's Stability during my fishless cycle, and I'm certain it got my cycle faster to completion faster than it would have without. :hat:
