Hey guys just a quick question if my drain is 1 1/2 at what rate should my return pump should be gph wise? Thanks

It depends.

What size sump is this?
How is the sump set up?
What kind of tank is this for?

Im looking into the eshopps rs-100 or aqueon model 2 havent decided how its gonna look but its going on an 70 gallon tall tank.

Whew! that's a bit overpriced. I would suggest going this route instead

I am assuming this is a salt water tank correct?

In short, if you're doing a refugium you will want to look at 10x - 20x the refugium volume per hour in flow. So the pump requirement will depend on the height of the aquarium because the flow will decrease as the height increases. I would suggest a Mag drive.

I would check here. It even offers a chart to figure out the flow rate.
