Emergency - nitrite

I tested my parameters 0 ammo, .25-.50 nitrite , 5 nitrate

So I believe I know why this happened my boyfriend noticed my filter wasn't working ( only 1 day or half day it was off ) and I believe my filter dried out & bacteria has died.

About to do a pretty massive 50-60% pwc and start dosing stability in the mean time so my levels don't kill my fish.

Any suggestions ????

Start out with 50% and keep an eye on things. Add dechlorinator only, nothing else necessary.

^ Agreed. Don't use the Stability. Just water changes until the bacteria can re-establish itself. Hopefully it won't take too long.
