I currently have a marineland emperor 280 on my 20 gallon planted tank. It works great, the water is perfectly clear and it keeps the ammonia and nitrite at 0. However it is slightly noisy and has so much flow my tetras have to really work hard to overcome it so they hide a lot near the bottom.

Should I keep what I have or get a different filter with less flow? I was liking at the Fluval C2. Looks like it does everything I need it to.
