My assassin snails earn their keep by keeping the pond snail population in check. Today I found one of my assassins with a baby pond snail hitching a ride on his shell.

Well, the little guys don't have eyes in their shells, I'm sure Mr. Assassin has no idea he's being ridden . The instant the stupid pond snail moves to a visible spot, he'll be dinner. Still, kind of a cool pic !
